Organizers may need to create tickets without going through the normal purchase process. These tickets are created directly in the system and do not generate an Order ID because they are not tied to a purchase.
These are often used for staff access, complimentary tickets, guest lists, or internal allocations.
In this article, you will learn how to manually create independent tickets from the Guest List and optionally link them to a customer or RFID tag.
✅Why This Matters
Allows organizers to create staff or complimentary tickets quickly
Tickets are not tied to any purchase or order
Tickets can still be tracked and scanned at the event
Tickets won't be deducted from inventory
🎟️ Creating Tickets Using the Create Ticket Button
From your dashboard, open the Guests tab from the side panel.
Located in the right side of the screen
Under Ticket Product, select the product you want to create
Assign a Batch ID using one of the following options:
Use Default Batch ID
Enter a Custom Batch ID in the field
Click Generate to automatically create a Batch ID
Assigning a Batch ID (or Batch Name) is important because it helps you organize, track, and manage groups of tickets more easily, especially when handling large numbers of manually created or imported tickets.
🔗Linking Tickets to a Customer (Optional)
You may link tickets to a customer account so they can view and manage the tickets.
From your dashboard, go to Guests → Guest List.
Tip: You can identify them using the Ticket Type and Batch ID.
In the search bar, locate the customer using:
User ID
Customer Name
Email Address
🔗Linking Tickets to RFID
You can link tickets to an RFID tag for scanning or access control
From your dashboard, go to Guests → Guest List.
In the Actions column on the right side of the row, click the Link icon (chain icon).
A prompt will appear where you can link the RFID tag to the ticket.
