The Different Report Types

Sales by Add-ons

06 Oct, 2026

The Sales by Add-on report is an order-level export that breaks out every add-on included with a ticket purchase, listed in the order the order was created. Add-ons can be physical merch β€” shirts, cups, caps, mugs, and similar items. Rather than showing tickets or promotions, this report is organized around whatever extra selections a customer made, making it the go-to report for understanding what's attached to a ticket beyond the ticket itself.

Each row in the report represents a single add-on unit, so an order that includes 6 shirts will appear as 6 separate rows (sharing the same Order ID), rather than being rolled up into one. Financial fields like Total Paid reflect the order's total, repeated across each of that order's add-on rows, rather than a value split out per individual add-on.

πŸ“‘ What Information It Contains

The exported CSV includes detailed order and customer data for every add-on included in your selected date range:

Order details

  • Order ID / Customer ID – Unique identifiers for the order and the purchasing customer. The same Order ID will repeat across multiple rows if that order included more than one add-on.

  • Order Created – Timestamp showing exactly when the order was placed.

  • Status – The payment status of the order (e.g., Payment Succeed).

  • Payment Type – How the order was completed (e.g., Paid, RSVP).

  • Source – Where the order originated (e.g., Consumer-facing checkout).

Customer details

  • First Name / Last Name / Full Name – The purchaser's name.

  • Email / Mobile – Contact information for the purchaser.

  • Street Address, Unit/Apt Number, City, State, Zip Code, Country – Billing or shipping details, if collected.

Financial details

  • Ticket Quantity – Number of tickets included in the order.

  • Total Paid – The full amount the customer paid, including fees.

  • Total Face Value – The base price of the tickets before fees.

  • Net Revenue – Revenue earned after discounts.

  • Order Discount – Dollar amount deducted from the order as a result of the promotion.

  • Total Merchant Paid Fees / Total Customer Paid Fees – Fee amounts, split out by who absorbed them.

Product & promo details

  • Product Name / Parent Product Name – The specific ticket or item purchased, if captured on the order.

  • Fulfillment Type – How the ticket is delivered (e.g., mobile, will call).

  • Promotion / Discount Code – The specific promo or discount code used on the order.

  • Extras – The specific add-on selection included on this row. This can be a merch item and variant (e.g., "Addon: shirt + (medium)") or a registration-style question and response (e.g., "Addon: Are you attending the Welcome Reception? + (Yes, I plan to attend)").

Other

  • Ticket Lock Completion Date – Relevant for orders on a payment plan.

  • Order Notes / Reference – Internal notes or reference numbers tied to the order, if any.

🎯 What It Can Be Used For

Because this report isolates every add-on included with a ticket purchase, it's a flexible tool for more than just tracking totals:

  • Merch Demand Tracking: Group rows by Extras to see exactly how many of each add-on (and which variant, like size or color) were sold.

  • Fulfillment & Inventory Planning: Use add-on counts broken out by variant to plan print runs, stock levels, or pickup/shipping logistics ahead of your event.

  • RSVP & Attendance Planning: For registration-style add-ons (e.g., reception attendance, guest counts), tally responses to plan headcounts for receptions, workshops, or other add-on events.

  • Customer-Level Add-on Lookup: Cross-reference Order ID and customer details to see exactly which add-ons a specific purchaser included with their order.
