The Different Report Types

Sales by Date

06 Oct, 2026

The Sales by Date report is a transaction-level export of every order placed for your event, listed in the order it was created. Rather than grouping sales by ticket type or promotion, this report is organized around when the order happened β€” making it the go-to report for understanding sales velocity and timing.

Each row in the report represents a single order, so you can see individual purchases as well as roll them up into daily, weekly, or custom date-range totals.

πŸ“‘ What Information It Contains

The exported CSV includes detailed order and customer data for every transaction in your selected date range:

Order details

  • Order ID / Customer ID – Unique identifiers for the order and the purchasing customer.

  • Order Created – Timestamp showing exactly when the order was placed.

  • Status – The payment status of the order (e.g., Payment Succeed).

  • Payment Type – How the order was completed (e.g., Paid, RSVP).

  • Source – Where the order originated (e.g., Consumer-facing checkout).

Customer details

  • First Name / Last Name / Full Name – The purchaser's name.

  • Email / Mobile – Contact information for the purchaser.

  • Street Address, Unit/Apt Number, City, State, Zip Code, Country – Billing or shipping details, if collected.

Financial details

  • Ticket Quantity – Number of tickets included in the order.

  • Total Paid – The full amount the customer paid, including fees.

  • Total Face Value – The base price of the tickets before fees.

  • Net Revenue – Revenue earned after discounts.

  • Order Discount – Dollar amount deducted from the order, if a discount was applied.

  • Total Merchant Paid Fees / Total Customer Paid Fees – Fee amounts, split out by who absorbed them.

Product & promo details

  • Product Name / Parent Product Name – The specific ticket or item purchased.

  • Fulfillment Type – How the ticket is delivered (e.g., mobile, will call).

  • Promotion / Discount Code – Any promo or discount code used on the order, if applicable.

  • Extras – Add-ons included with the order, if applicable.

Other

  • Ticket Lock Completion Date – Relevant for orders on a payment plan.

  • Order Notes / Reference – Internal notes or reference numbers tied to the order, if any.

πŸ’‘ Note: Not every column will be populated for every event β€” fields like Promotion, Discount Code, and Extras only populate if those features were used on a given order.

🎯 What It Can Be Used For

Because this report is timestamped down to the second and includes full order-level detail, it's a flexible tool for more than just tracking totals:

  • Daily/Weekly Sales Tracking: Roll up Order Created timestamps to see how many tickets and how much revenue came in on a given day.

  • Campaign Attribution: Cross-reference sale timestamps against your marketing calendar to see which emails, posts, or ads drove purchases.

  • Fee Reconciliation: Compare Total Paid, Total Face Value, Net Revenue, and fee columns to reconcile what the event earned versus what fees were collected.
